This year, from mid-May to mid-June, we are launching a campaign to promote a more ethical and compassionate approach to Eid al-Adha. Through powerful visuals, educational content, and public activities, we aim to encourage people to question traditions and choose compassion for all beings.
Our goal is to change public perception, educate about ethical alternatives, and provide the community with an opportunity to contribute to the well-being of animals. We plan to promote this message through billboards, public transport ads (buses/trams), and social media campaigns, alongside educational and inspiring content about cruelty-free traditions.
Why is this campaign important?
Eid al-Adha is traditionally associated with the sacrifice of animals, but it can also be a time for reflection, compassion, and ethical choices. By supporting this campaign, you help spark an important dialogue and offer an alternative view that aligns with contemporary ethical values.
Campaign objectives:
Educate the public about alternative ways to celebrate Eid al-Adha without killing animals.
Raise awareness of the ethical aspects of animal slaughter.
Create a public movement for change, emphasizing empathy and kindness towards animals.
Create public discourse and encourage a change in perception through visual and digital media.
How will we achieve these goals?
Placing billboards and ads on public transport (buses/trams).
Launching a digital campaign on social media and advertising through video content.
Partnering with vegan and animal rights activists/organizations that can further spread the message.
Organizing online discussions and interactive posts that allow people to learn and reflect on alternatives.
How will the funds be used?
To achieve the greatest possible impact, we plan to allocate the funds as follows:
Billboards and public transport ads: $4,000 for placing ads in high-traffic locations and buses in key cities.
Digital advertising: $500 will be allocated for online promotion on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram to reach a wider audience.
Design and video editing: $500 will be used for creating professional promotional materials, including ad design and video content to raise awareness.
Who are we? And why support our work?
Our organization actively works on raising awareness about animal rights, the environmental consequences of dietary choices, and the benefits of plant-based diets. Over the years, we have launched numerous campaigns that sparked important conversations and dietary changes.
Throughout the year, our organization carries out many activities, and here are some of our successful primarily ethical campaigns:
Anonymous Mother (2021) – A campaign that sparked strong reactions, comparing animal suffering with human suffering, particularly highlighting the emotional bond between a mother and her offspring. We had two campaigns, one dedicated to a ewe mother and the other to a sow mother.
KFC's Horror (2023) – A campaign that raised public awareness about the actions and injustices committed by KFC against chickens.
For Life (2023) – A powerful visual campaign showing a woman holding a lamb with bloody hands, evoking deep emotional reactions and encouraging people to question the hypocrisy in their treatment of animals.
Bloody Tradition (2024) – A campaign against pig slaughter that became regionally recognized in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and Croatia, sparking debates on the cruelty of traditional pig slaughtering.
How can you help?
